What’s the difference between eBooks and FluencyLink (Student Editions / Teacher Editions)?

eBooks are online books that may include audio and video hotspots, bookmarking, note-taking, highlighting, and offline reading functionality. They can be accessed via a web browser or mobile device on our iOS app.

FluencyLink Student Editions feature all of the above, plus interactive workbook features such as autograded practice questions. Student accounts can be added to classes and assigned work by teachers. Some workbooks may also contain printable practice materials.

FluencyLink Teacher Editions feature the functionality of eBooks, plus the ability to assign books, homework, and assessments to student users. Teacher accounts have access to precreated assessments, plus teacher users can create their own questions and assessments. Teacher accounts can grade assignments, see usage and performance metrics, and access additional teacher resources (if available) such as exams and slide decks.
