Cheng & Tsui allows returns of merchandise by individual buyers within 30 days of purchase for books. Digital subscriptions may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase.

Customers will be refunded for the books and any applicable sales tax once they are received back. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
Customers wishing to cancel a digital subscription should contact Customer Service at returns@cheng-tsui.com
Bookstores wanting to make an overstock return must contact Customer Service first at that same email address for a return authorization number before sending anything back. Bookstore returns made without an authorization number will be refused.
Return Policy for Schools
Orders for schools are normally processed on a non-returnable basis. If the school ordered the incorrect item, please contact Customer Service and we will work with you to exchange them for the correct items. If any books are received in damaged or defective condition, please contact customer service immediately. Claims for damaged/defective or incorrect items must be made within 30 days of receipt of the merchandise.
- A Return Authorization Number must be obtained first and marked on the outside of the package.
- Requests for return authorization must sent in writing and must include the correct invoice number, the invoice date, and original quantity purchased.
- Special-order books and out-of-print titles may not be returned. Audio cassettes, videocassettes, audio CDs, computer software, VCDs, DVDs, and field test editions are all non-returnable items. Most imported titles are also non-returnable.
- Books in unmarked, salable condition may be returned, with prior authorization, between four months and one year from invoice date.
- Price stickers or their remnants are unacceptable.
- Invoices for these books must have been paid in full prior to such return.
- Customer account must be in good standing, and should not have any past due invoices.
- Credit from returned merchandise is non-refundable and is for use against future purchases.

Reseller Return of Damaged or Defective Books
Returns must be made for exchange or account credit only within one month of invoice date and must be clearly marked as defective or damaged. Please contact Customer Service for a return authorization number. Once authorized, defective or damaged books should be sent to:

Return Policy for Individuals
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply contact our Customer Service within 30 days of receipt of materials and we will walk you through the return process.
Please note: Software, digital products, audio CDs, audio tapes, video CDs, DVDs, videotapes, and field test editions are nonreturnable.
- Please contact Customer Service and we will give you a RA# (Return Authorization Number). Please do not make any returns without an RA#, as they will be refused
- Requests to return must be made within 30 days of receipt of materials.
- Materials must be in saleable condition.
- Refunds for returned merchandise will be issued to the credit card used to make the original purchase. Please note that refunds will be made for the cost of the merchandise only. Shipping and handling charges will not be credited.
- Please allow 2-3 weeks after making the return for the refund to be processed.

Damaged/Defective
If you received a defective product, or something that was damaged in transit, please contact Customer Service immediately. Damaged/Defective claims must be made within 30 days or receipt of materials.
