Using Groups

Teachers can create groups to assign content, activities, and handouts to a portion of their students within a class or across multiple classes.
Create a group:
- Login to FluencyLink
- Go to "Group"

- Click on "Add Group"

- Enter in the name of your group

- You can add students now or at a later time. See the section below "Add students to your group" for further instructions.
- Click "Save"

Add students to your group:
While adding or editing a group:
- Select the class you want to add students from

- Select the names of the students you want to add to your group from the Student(s) List section
- Note: You can select multiple students by holding Ctrl and left-clicking with your mouse
- Click on the right arrow to move the students to the Student(s) Added section

- Click "Save" when done
Edit an existing group:
- Go to "Group"
- Click on the "Edit" pencil icon for the group you want to change

- You can now
- Change the name of the group
- Add students to the group
- Remove students from the group
- After making your changes, click "Save"

Remove students from your group:
While adding or editing a group:
- Select the names of the students you want to move from your group in the Student Added section
- Note: You can select multiple students by holding Ctrl and left-clicking with your mouse
- Click on the left arrow to move the students out of the Student Added section

Delete a group:
- You will need to remove all students from the group you want to delete
- Click on the "Delete" icon

- Click "Yes" to confirm you want to delete the group
